Or at least the "Cookeee" version of it. These photos were taken at the Nebraska State Fair in Lincoln, Nebraska during the 2000 Fair, August 25 through September 4, 2000. Well, I found out. It's because of this "backbone" of the Fair. The Fair centers around produce. The local model train enthusiasts must spend weeks setting up their display. New this year was a Technology Building. And there is a parade every day. A small historical village has been set up on the fairgrounds. Of course farm equipment is always plentiful.
