The Kentucky Bourbon Festival takes place all over, at the distilleries, the museums, downtown, the race track, etc. The main festival is held downtown on the grounds near St. Catherine's College, the Museum and the Catholic Church. I don't know how big the area is, but it is very large.

There is an area for each of the distilleries to put up their own displays, an area for all of the craftsmen, a large fenced in area which is the only place liquor is allowed, the stage area and of course a large food area.
