ICE House at Opryland

How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
Dec. 24, 2007

Every year Opryland brings in a fantastic Ice display. It is in a building in the parking lot of Opryland Mills.

The theme this year was "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." The last third of the
building is a religious display. All of this room is clear ice, but the
Grinch area is made of all colored ice. The dye is put in the water before freezing
and then it is all put together. The pictures are good, but
nothing like being there in person.

They give you a parka to wear because the temperature is kept at 9 degrees.

The last few pictures are in and around the Opryland Hotel. Again, the camera cannot do justice to what is really there.
