Sister Patty's 50th Aniversary Sister Patty has been with the Sisters of Mercy for 50 years and celebrated the occasion with a Noon Mass at St. Patricks Church in Farmington, CT and a grand party at the home of Jimmy & Liz cook, also in Farmington. As she is "full steam ahead" into the 20th century, the invitation was only on the Internet. (It also saved some printing costs and postage.) Click here to see the Invitation. These are some photos from the day. The first group was taken at The Church. There were so many general pictures taken during
the day that I had to split them into 4 groups. One of the highlights of the day was "The Wall." Jim spent countless hours making copies of many old pictures, blowing them up and putting them on display on the fence as you walked to the rear yard. Here are some shots of people enjoying "The Wall." I hope you have enjoyed re-living the party through these pictures. If you were unable to attend, then these should give you an idea of the good time you missed. These pictures have been cut down in size and quality so they will load faster for those of you dialing into the Internet. If you would like the larger version of any of them, just e-mail me with the number(s) of the pictures and I will e-mail them back to you. The number of the picture can be found in the address or location line on the screen as you are looking at the picture. The numbers I need all start with "MVC" or "aMVC" and end with .jpg. Of course comments are always welcome, too. E-mail to cookeee@naples.net |
